Giorgio Linguanti, That's Amore Cheese
Giorgio came to Melbourne seven years ago, looking for a fresh start. He left behind a career in advertising, his family, the world he knew and loved. Because he couldn't speak much English when he arrived, a job in advertising was out of the question. So, Giorgio took a temporary job in a cheese factory, and fell head over heels in Amore. The rest, as they say, is cheese history.
Carla Meurs and Ann-Marie Monda, Holy Goat
Former teachers, Carla Meurs and Ann-Marie were drawn to organic cheesemaking by their belief in sustainablefarming and living. The pair look after a small herd of dairy goats and make award-winning cheese on their property in Sutton Grange, near Castlemaine in Victoria.
